Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CertifyRecruit platform ("Platform"), including all assessments, certificates, features, and content, operated by Cluster Certify Recruit Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By registering or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

01Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By registering you represent that you meet this requirement. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this condition.

02Account registration

You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keeping it updated. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

03Platform description

CertifyRecruit is a credential-verification and talent-discovery platform that lets candidates demonstrate skills through proctored AI-generated assessments and lets employers search for verified talent. Features include:

• Skill Path assessments (Silver → Gold → Platinum → Elite) with AI-generated questions;
• Proctoring via webcam face detection and browser integrity checks;
• Verifiable digital badges and certificates for passing candidates;
• A social feed and connections network;
• A Daily Challenge with coin rewards;
• Employer search and job-matching tools.

04Assessment integrity & proctoring

Assessments are designed to be taken honestly and independently. By starting an assessment you agree to:

• Allow the Platform to activate your webcam for live face-detection proctoring during the assessment;
• Not switch browser tabs, copy-paste answers, or seek outside assistance;
• Not allow other persons to be present or visible in your camera frame.

Integrity violations (e.g. multiple faces, face absence, tab switching) are recorded. Accumulating the maximum allowed violations in a single attempt terminates that attempt. Certificates and scores are earned on your own merit. We reserve the right to invalidate any result found to have been obtained through dishonest means.

05Subscriptions, coins & payments

Certain tiers of assessment are unlocked through coin purchases or paid subscriptions. All payments are processed through our third-party payment gateway (PayU). Prices are displayed on the Platform in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Our Cancellation & Refund Policy governs refunds and cancellations and forms part of these Terms.

06Certificates & badges

Certificates issued by the Platform represent the completion of the relevant assessment under the conditions in force at that time. We reserve the right to revoke a certificate if we determine it was obtained in breach of these Terms.

07Intellectual property

All content on the Platform -including questions, software, design, text, graphics, and branding -is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use content you submit (including resume data and profile information) for the purposes of operating and improving the Platform.

08Prohibited conduct

• Impersonating another person or using false credentials;
• Cheating or undermining assessment integrity;
• Scraping, crawling, or automated access to the Platform without permission;
• Uploading malware, viruses, or harmful code;
• Using the Platform for harassment, spam, or any unlawful purpose;
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to our systems.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CertifyRecruit and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

11Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (IP rights, limitation of liability, governing law) shall survive.

12Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vadodara, Gujarat, India. We encourage you to contact us first at legal@certifyrecruit.com to resolve disputes informally.

13Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
